Unsere Geschichte / our story
Bernadette Kizik und Manuel Sonnleitner (www.manuelsonnleitner.at) gründeten im Jahr 2025 das Theater GOschART, um neue Wege in der Theaterkunst zu beschreiten.
Die erste Produktion, Strauss: Das Märchen vom Walzerkönig, ist ein originelles, von ihnen entwickeltes Stück, das Schauspiel, Musik und verschiedenste Formen des Puppenspiels vereint.
Mit viel Fantasie und Liebe zum Detail wird die Lebensgeschichte von Johann Strauss Sohn, dem berühmten „Walzerkönig“, auf eine ganz besondere Weise erzählt.
Neben dieser Premiere sind bereits weitere spannende Theaterprojekte in Planung.
Auch international wird das Stück auf Festivals gezeigt und dabei das kulturelle Erbe Österreichs kreativ in Szene gesetzt.

Their debut production, Strauss: The fairy tale of the Waltz king, is an original work developed by the duo, combining drama, music, and various forms of puppetry. With great imagination and attention to detail, the life story of Johann Strauss II — the renowned “Waltz King”—is told in a truly distinctive way.

Presented at international festivals, the piece showcases Austria’s cultural heritage with creativity and elegance. Additional exciting theater projects are already in development for this year.

Das Märchen vom Walzerkönig erzählt die Lebensgeschichte von Johann Strauss Sohn, der trotz vieler Widrigkeiten unbeirrt seinem Lebenstraum nachgeht und ihn letztlich verwirklicht. In einer Welt voller Magie, Abenteuer und Freundschaft tauchen wir in das Leben von Johann ein. Kindgerecht werden Themen wie Mut, Kreativität, Liebe und Selbstvertrauen vermittelt. Ein Theaterstück ab 6+
The Fairy Tale of the Waltz King tells the life story of Johann Strauss Jr.—composer of The Blue Danube and Die Fledermaus—who, despite many challenges, follows his lifelong dream with unwavering determination and ultimately brings it to life.
Set in a world full of magic, adventure, and friendship, we journey into Johann’s life. In a way that is suitable for children, the story gently conveys themes such as courage, creativity, love, and self-confidence.
